Review: Hair Cut at D'Element Salon

Well... Normally, I don't cut my hair in KL because

1st, it's very expensive

2nd, I don't know any good salon.

3rd, my hair volumn. My hair is alot, really alot. So it's not easy job to handle my hair. >.<

I tried 2 salon before. 1 salon is recommended by my friend and it's an Indian salon. Indian do have big volumn of hair so mine is like can compare with them already T.T The Indian lady boss cut my hair. 1st time I tried, I really like it. My hair look really nice but I'm disappointed for the 2nd time. Maybe too high expectation already >.< Another salon is recommended by my bf. He used to go to that salon to cut his hair. I went there to cut and rebonding. The service not bad but the result... My hair is very straight after rebonding but not for long.

So based on my past experience, I very seldom go salon. Hehehe.. I can't even remember when was the last time I cut my hair >.<

So my friend told me this salon is not bad and furthermore, it's worth it. Hey.. It's only RM 13.90 for hair cut, wash and blow but there is one thing I don't like is the salon is very far from my place which is at Strand, Kota Damansara. Anyhow, I decided to give it a try ^^

As I mentioned earlier, I bought 2 coupons so 1 is for me and another 1 is for my bf. We supposed to go together but due to he is working so I have to go alone >.< Well.. Another excuse given by him is he don't need a cut now o.O

I make an appointment for today at 12pm but I was late due to heavy jam >.< I don't even know why it's so jam T.T The coupon only can be use on Sunday 10 am - 12 pm so I was like... You know.. Like worry if I arrive after 12 pm they won't do my hair T.T but luckily they are very nice ^_^ I reached there around 12.30 pm and they still do my hair XD

This salon is just opened about 8 months. Wow.. Quite new. They got 4 stands which can sit 8 persons. When I reach there, only got 1 guy is getting his hair cut.

1st, they sat me down. Then Mandy, the creative director who cut my hair ^^ a very nice lady, discussed with me how I want my hair cut. After this, there is a guy wash my hair ( I didn't get his name but he is from Miri, Sarawak. o.O Sure you wondering how come I know.. Hey.. I just go there for my hair cut, OK.. XD) Quite enjoyed the hair wash ^^ Not because of the guy but the massage. It's nice...

After done with my hair wash, Mandy start to cut my hair. Normally, people will dry my hair abit then only start to cut my hair but she didn't do this >.< I'm not sure is it suppose to be like this. Hahaha... While she cut my hair, we have some conversation. It's normal when you got customer come in and sure you want to ask them to do other services too.. She did asked me whether I want rebonding or not but I'm not planning to do that so I just say I don't want. It's good thing that they don't push sales and I really like it. Then we also talked about perm hair. Ahem.. I did think before that I want to perm my hair but I scared of the result >.< My hair already got huge volumn and imagine that with perm o.O Can't imagine...

Then suddenly I asked whether they have temporary curl or not. (How stupid I'm XP) Definitely they will have and they only charge RM 10. So I was like thinking give it a try.

So tadaaaaa.... The result. After 2 hours in the salon ^^

Because it's just for temporary so I know that it's very fast that my hair will uncurl back. She is giving a wild guess that this will last for half day (after I asked her ^^) so I asked her to make a small curl. This is because it will become looser later. If I did a big curl, I think very fast it'll uncurl back >.<

So this is 1 hour later. Hehe..

2 hour later. Hahaha.. Can see the curl very loose already by this time.

Overall, the service is nice and I'm comfortable with it. It's recommended for other people to go ^^ Definitely I will go there again if the salon is near to my place >.< Too bad that it's very very far from my place T.T

Hmmm.. I think I should perm my hair because I already received few compliments for my hair ^_^ Especially from my niece. She saw my picture then she called me. I asked her whether pretty or not. Guess what... She said a little bit pretty but very cute >.< Hahaha...

PS: I personally bought the coupons with my own money. All this is my own experience and opinions so it might not the same with you. Don't come look for me if you experience it differently. ^^

Review - FreshLook Amethyst

In my previous post (here), I mentioned that I still have 1 colour contact len that I bought long time ago which is FreshLook Amethyst. So I finally use it after so long didn't wear colour contact len >.< I'm so excited and a bit scare cause scare people will stare at my eyes XD Luckily no~~

After so long, I finally wear colour contact len. At first, I thought the colour will be very intense... However it doesn't appear as what I have thought of.

Sorry that I didn't took a picture of the contact in box :P Below is picture of me wearing the contact len ^^

The picture is took under sunlight in the car using handphone >.< Currently I don't have camera yet. So please bear with the picture ^^ But in the picture you can see that the colour is not so obvious.

The above picture is taken with flash and the bottom is without flash.

Without the flash you can hardly notice that the colour of the contact lens. Even I view from the mirror also the same >.<

Pro :

The colour not very intense - it won't make you look like alien XD

Cons :

Not easy to wear - the lens is very thin so sometime it will stick to your finger instead your eyeball when want to wear

Easy to tear - as I mentioned above, the lens are very thin therefore it tend to be very easy to tear

Overall :

I would recommend to those that are looking for more natural look but not to those that want to have strong colour in their eyes. This colour is not too obvious so you won't scare the kids off ^^ However it's not recommend for those that just started to use contact lens cause this really need extra careful when handling the lens as it's very thin and easy to tear.

I have been using my old laptop, Acer, for the pass 4 years. And I started to hate it so much when I'm playing games. I like to play PC games and I could stick to the game for the whole day ^^ But it started to give me problem. It'll hang and all the records gone~~ Aarrhhhhhhhhhhh... I have to replay again. 1st time, I'm cool. 2nd time, nvm. 3rd TIME, it's KILLING ME~~!!! It's not only 1 game but few games. OMG~~ I really can't take it~~~

Fine~~ I decided not to play games already. I watch movies online using PPTV. I wanted to download movies but~~~ Due to limited hard disc[which is 80GB], I'm unable to do so. Whenever I want to download movies, I need to delete the old one 1st. I used up most of the space with my games and songs already so I got no choice.

My bf keep said want to reformat my laptop and I don't allow cause I got alot of applications that I want & couldn't afford to lost it *sob sob* I think this also cause my laptop to work very slow.

One day, I saw Dell leaflet on the table in the pantry and it attracted my attention to take a look of it. So I took it and read it. Wow... RM2k++ for a new laptop and with other specializations. It really attracted me. What I do after that is to go to Dell website to check it out.

Since then, my mind keep thinking of having new laptop. I already targetted Dell laptop Inspiron 15R. Click here to know about it. Planned to get it in short term. What really attract me is with RM2K++, I could get i5 processor, 4GB of RAM, 1GB for the graphic, 15" and the most is the 500GB hard disc. Just imagine how many things I could keep with that amount of memory ^_^

I told my bf about my plan and want to shop online. Hahaha... Guess what? My bf is really a typical, conservative guy. He don't believe in online shopping ^^ He persuaded me not to buy at that moment and wait since I still got my laptop to use. Well.. He really talked me out of it so I just keep the plan. Ahem.. Not entirely.. Hahaha.. Cause almost everday I go to Dell website to check out the price ^^ I even tried to Google it for the price that is for the same laptop in the market. Well.. Definitely the price is higher than Dell.

I'm so bored so I decided to play game again. Again~~~ The game hang and all the records gone *sob sob sob* I really can't stand it and complainted to my bf. So my bf suggested us to go survey the price 1st before shop online. Who knows got better offer out there. He even contacted his friends to ask which brand better. Hahaha.. He is such adorable ^^

We went to Low Yat Plaza to survey. I wanted to have the same spec as Inspiron 15R. We went to each and every floor to survey the price. For few hours. Lastly we got to this booth, the salesman intro me ASUS A52JC [as not much brand got 15" size] and he quote us the price lower than Dell. Wow.. It's so tempting. But.. We didn't decide on the spot. We still go around to survey on the same model but all the price is still higher. In the end, we decided to buy this ^^

I'm so excited when I got this laptop. My bf even more excited than me.. Hahaha.. After talking for so much I still haven't got into the topic :P

Ok.. Stop rushing me... So here you go..

You know online games need to use up alot of RAM and graphic so it'll cause the laptop/PC to be slow. Well.. With this laptop I got no issue at all. I can even run 2 of the online games concurrently with my PPTV running and it won't hang ^^ I love it~~ This is probably due to the i5 processor. Refer here for more info about i5 and you will know why I choose i5 but I think will be slightly different as this is for 2nd generation. i7 is too high tech and not neccessary for me ^_^

It's spacious with the 500GB HDD. Wow.. How many movies,songs, pictures and games I could keep?? Hehehe.. Don't ask me as I still got alot of space and don't know when I'll use up ^^

The graphic is nice and you can choose which program you want to run with nVIDIA or with built in VGA. The speaker is loud too.. I don't need extra external speakers ^^ It's running very quiet. Sometimes I'm not sure whether it's running or not. Hahaha..

Basically, this laptop is perfect for me. Ahem.. Almost perfect. This is because only recently I found out that this laptop doesn't have built in bluetooth. I thought it got so that I could just bluetooth things from my phone to this laptop without using the cable but... Haihz.. Well.. Can't do much about it. Unless I really want it, then I think I have to buy external bluetooth then ^^

I would recommend this laptop to anyone except extreme heavy user on graphics and games. This is good for those who surf net, do their normal online, watch movies/dramas, play games etc... Well.. This is affordable so it's good for those who have low budget. If you got higher budget than RM3K then you can go for higher specializations ^^ This is just my mere opinions.
